Duties:
- Assist attorneys with legal case management and project management tasks
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining case files
- Transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and memos
- Provide administrative support to the legal team
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist with legal drafting, including preparing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain databases
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using legal research tools and databases
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
