As a Customer Service Fraud Investigator, your focus is applying fact-finding methods to investigate potential fraudulent activity. You’ll seek to achieve the optimal balance between customer experience and fraud prevention through interaction with callers. It’ll be a highly collaborative team environment, colleagues supporting customers as well as each other!
WHAT OUR FRAUD INVESTIGATORS ENJOY MOST
- Evaluating and processing identity theft and customer validation claims
- Assisting team leaders with escalated issues
- Identifying and presenting opportunities for improved operational procedures
- Working on a wide variety of investigations
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Fraud training: 3 years, Resolving difficult and escalated issues: 3 years
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of cable/telecom operations, detection and analysis, and laws/regulations related to fraud and risk management
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with coworkers and customers
- Schedule: Some travel required
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables and limited standardization
- Extensive knowledge of billing cycles and cross divisional procedures
- Effective organization and time management when multitasking
