Speech Tactics is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients and be able to develop individualized treatment plans to help clients their goals. The qualified candidate will be able to assess and diagnose a wide range of conditions, as well as develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on medical necessity.
Responsibilities:
- 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, but not required
- Opportunities for COTA supervision w/ Bonus Pay
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinical setting
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities
- Develop home programs and provide parent education/coaching
- Collaborate with an OT, ST, PT, ABA, PYSCH, and parents/caregivers
- Evaluate and assess patients' needs and abilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve the patient's quality of life
- Instruct patients and families in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Provide education to families and caregivers on how to support the patient's progress.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC SLP
- Spanish fluency is a PLUS
- NC License and AOTA Certification
- At least (2) years of pediatric experience preferred, but NOT required
- Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS
- Excellent Communication skills
