Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Immediate Supervisor: CEO

Job Purpose
The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects of the company. Assists the CEO in the aggressive and successful growth of the company. Through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by the objectives of company, the COO provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
- Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, business goals and objectives.
- Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
- Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
- Liaison with legal counsel and insurance brokers
- Assist with administration management
- Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with the rest of the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the team not currently in place.
- Act as lead "client-care officer" through direct contact with every client and partner.
- Assist, as required, in raising additional capital at appropriate valuations to enable the company to meet sales, growth, and industry share objectives.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Represent the firm with clients, investors, and business partners.
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) or ten to fifteen years related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Five years’ experience in a Management position in a RACING environment preferred.
- An experienced leader and financial executive with appropriate industry experience in financial management.
- An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who is "politically savvy" and a team player.
- An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
- A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor.
- An excellent negotiator who is experienced in contracts.
- A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in systems.
Knowledge:
- Administration and Management — Advanced knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Language — Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to other executives, members of management and outside investors.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Public Safety and Security — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
- Tools: Calculators, desktop computers, scanners, copiers, fax and phone systems.
- Technology: Intermediate skills with Microsoft Windows and Office environment (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and standard office equipment.
- Other: Comprehensive knowledge and experience with the performance of exotic cars and racing preferred.

Work Environment

May work hours during the evening and on weekends.
