Now hiring an assembly worker on 3rd shift. Spherion of Owatonna, MN currently has an assembly position available to support our local customer in Owatonna. Our assembler will be working a 10 hour shift, Monday-Thursday with limited overtime on Fridays. The assembler will support our customer's fitness operation. Responsibilities
- Assemble various components using hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment ensuring that all specifications are being met to manufacture the highest quality product.
- Analyze rejected product, communicating with the lead assembler and assisting in the problem resolution.
- Uses calibration and testing equipment effectively, ensuring that the product functions according to specifications.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Must Haves:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of safety
- Ability to stand entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in production or assembly
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience with hand and power tools
