Job Description
Spherion Staffing is looking for a Cost Accountant to join our growing team in Frostproof, FL.
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of cost accounting including, but not limited to, analyzing financial statements and budgets, reviewing and analyzing purchase orders, invoicing, and billings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the general ledger system and be able to work independently with little supervision.
Essential Functions:
- Review and analyze cost reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare cost reports for the accounts payable department.
- Prepare cost reports for the accounts receivable department.
- Prepare cost reports for the general ledger system.
- Review and analyze purchase orders, invoices, and billings.
- Assist with month-end close process.
- Assist with month-end process as needed for the accounts receivable department and production department.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
·Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field
·Minimum of 4 years of experience in cost accounting
·Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) ERP
·CPA or CMA designation preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
