Job Description
Spherion is seeking a full-time, temp to hire Repair Technician for a Telecommunications company.
Hourly Pay Rate: $17.00
Shift Monday-Friday 6a-2:30
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting electronics equipment.
- Soldering equipment using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.
- Using repair equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, volt meters and soldering irons.
- Maintaining quality performance levels learning our quality management methods and procedures.
- Working with a team of skilled technicians in an interactive environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in electronics diagnostics and repair.
- Ability to read some schematics.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Soldering and de-soldering skills are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to follow precise instructions given by the service manager.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must have good organizational skills and be very detail oriented.
