Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment.
Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assembly of components including plastic parts, ball screws, gears, and motors, including final assembly
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
- Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
- Check output to ensure highest quality
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all company protocols, regulations and procedures
- Follow technical instructions, interpret blueprints and drawings
- Use of hand tools and small electric screw drivers in the assembling process.
- Test finished products for defects.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- At least 2 years of previous Mechanical Assembler experience
- Technical knowledge and ability to read assembly instructions and follow standard operation procedures
- Ability in using tools and basic machinery
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Works well in a fast-paced team environment
