Spherion is hiring CNC Cell Operators in Albion, IN.
Shifts & Pay:
2nd Shift: 2PM - 10PM - $26.21/HR
This position will be responsible for running quality parts in CNC Cell centers
More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including, but not limited to the following:
- Operating several CNC machines simultaneously in cell environment
- Changing inserts and making offsets, gauging, and recording readings
- Ensuring completion of job cards for all assigned work
- Training new employees
- Reducing scrap and maintaining clean and orderly work area
- Assembling 10”/12” hubs and races/bolts
- Operating stud press machine
- Moving parts between conveyor belts, machines and pallets
Skills:
- Prior CNC machining experience preferred, including performing offsets and changeovers
- Experience working in and around robot operations, preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and other simple documents.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and looks for ways to promote quality.
- Observes safety procedures and maintains good attendance.
- Hand tool experience is a plus including hammer, Allen wrenches, press controls, bander, staple gun, and carts
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required
- Must be able to read work instructions and other work documents provided in English
