PRESS OPERATOR

Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a talented and motivated individual for a Press Operations team a Press Operator Narrow Web. This is a *** DIRECT HIRE *** position.

*RELOCATION WILL BE CONSIDERED*

Please note: We are looking for an experienced Printing Press Operator for the printing industry, who will operate and maintain printing presses used to create packaging materials.

• 5:00 pm - 5:15 am, Wednesday to Friday! 36.75 hours weekly!
• Shift Pay Differential in addition to hourly wage offered.
• Overtime paid after 40 hours a week; typical OT available is at least one shift per month.

• Efficient set and operation on printing UV Flexo Narrow web press machine, meeting specs in quality, safety, material and waste
• Team player, ensuring press is stocked with materials that enable focus on the art of producing quality packaging.
  
  

Working hours: 5:00 PM - 5:15 AM

Skills

Experience with measurements and calculations; experience in the print industry

A Plus: Knowledge of and/or experience with Lean Manufacturing

• Thinking through mechanical aspects of equipment operations and decision-making
• Effective time management on multiple long / short-term projects, meeting all related deadlines
