Spherion Staffing is hiring a Product Inspector to begin work in Fort Wayne!
This is a Direct Hire opportunity!
Shift and Pay:
Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4PM
Pay is $16-$20/HR
Job Summary:
To inspect wire rope, chain and synthetic slings along with rigging hardware to make sure the products meet applicable standards and regulations.
This is a dirty job where you will be walking and lifting for majority of your shift!
responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections on customer's site
- Reject all products and materials that fail to meet the standards and regulations
- Document inspections outcome using iPads and inspection software
- Perform other functions as required
The Position of Product Inspector reports to the General Manager. They will also work directly with the Outside Sales Representative for the customer's they are preforming inspections at.

- Attention to detail and customer service skills
- Good math and technical skills
qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Quality control experience is preferred
- Satisfactory driving record - will need a "For Hire" endorsement on driver?s license
- DOT Physical
