What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Assembler position at Spherion?
Position: Manufacturing Assembly
Hours: 1st Shift (5:30am-3:00pm)
Location: Millstone, NJ.
A bit about the company:
- The fiber drums range from the size of a paint can to 77-gallon drums which are used as shipping containers mostly.
- None of the positions require heavy lifting but there is a lot of repetitive motions. So, people are going to be sore after their first few days.

Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Assembler:
- Assemble cardboard drums with steel top
- Follows all applicable safety policies and practices
- Responsible for housekeeping and general maintenance functions within work area
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Requires continuous standing and frequent lifting/carrying, stooping / bending / squatting /pulling/pushing, twisting of the trunk and neck, reaching and grasping/squeezing.
- Occasional climbing/balancing.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to lift 50lbs consistently
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
