About the Role

We are hiring repair mechanics to maintain our fleet of electric scooters! This role is great for mechanically-inclined professionals to work directly with the operations side of our business. You will work with the latest electric scooter hardware, from routing repairs, diagnosing new issues, to rebuilds. We offer full benefits for all full-time employees.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a repair team with the expectation to set and exceed daily and weekly goals
  • Hire and train new Maintenance Specialist staff
  • Conduct safety checks and perform preventative maintenance
  • Assist in inventory management for parts, vehicles and other equipment and tools
  • As directed, perform critical field maintenance and operational tasks
  • Use mobile apps, spreadsheets and other technology to track repairs, parts and vehicles
  • Load, drive, and unload up to 50-70 lbs of scooters (with or without accommodation) between the warehouse and around the local area
  • Perform complex repairs on electric scooters, with supervision from the Operations Lead

 

Must Have

  • 2 years of experience leading a team
  • 2 years experience repairing scooters, or other vehicles or equipment
  • Proven familiarity with a broad range of commonly-used tools, electronics and computers
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be 18 years or older with two years of driving experience
  • Weekend Availability
  • Have a smartphone and experience using mobile applications
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • Experience with Google Sheets/Excel

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Applicant Policy

An essential function of this position is driving, therefore to be eligible a valid and current driver’s license is required.  As part of the interview process, applicants may be asked to participate in a driving test.  Applicants asked to participate  in the driver’s test must have a valid and current driver’s license at the time of the test. If applicant is offered a position, proof of a valid and current driver’s license will be one of the conditions of employment.
