Surgical Asset Manager: Provides support to the Customer Service department to understand inventory in the field against customer request and forecasted needs. Monitors inventory at both distributors and hospitals including completing physical counts when needed. Tracks set turns and loaner program to collect inventory when appropriate and invoice late fees when necessary. Requirements include bachelors degree or equivalent and one to three years experience with product portfolio, strong organizational and planning skills, strong database and Excel experience, and persuasive yet firm customer service demeanor a must. Performs core responsibilities which are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues. Has substantial understanding of position applying knowledge to complete a wide range of tasks with little instruction and only general instruction on new assignments.
Essential Functions:

Reconciling Inventory which includes physical inventory counts as well as creating and maintaining electronic records on a computer.

Ability to communicate with customers and distributors regarding our loaner program and inventory issues

Ability to lift and reposition surgical sets which weigh up to 25lbs

Ability to travel to various sites to complete physical inventory counts
Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for management of external inventory and our loaner program. Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. This involves interfacing with distributors and medical facilities as well as conducting physical, virtual or self-counts in order to ensure accuracy of our inventory data. Manages field inventory reconciliation and system adjustments and provides reports and metrics on field asset utilization.
Communicates with all areas of management including:

Requires moving and lifting surgical sets weighing up to 25lbs multiple times per day.
Travel These positions require regular travel to distributors, hospitals, and surgery centers. Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.
