We provide outpatient multimodal pain solutions including therapies and outpatient procedures with a team oriented approach in a friendly, fun, and fast paced work environment.
We are looking for a Medical Assistant with an interest in the health care industry. The successful candidate will be assisting with day to day clinical operations as well as working with fellow staff in a fast-paced clinic environment, answering incoming calls and working as part of an interdisciplinary team to assist patients with medical issues. So past management or leadership experience is welcomed, but not required. Our Medical Assistant must be capable of creating comprehensive medical files, performing routine tests and assisting doctors with in-depth analysis and clinical operations. .
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a clean, well-lighted medical office environment.
- May assist with the delivery of patient care or other duties as assigned by the supervising physician.
- Makes appointments, informs patients of office procedures and policies, and resolves problems when scheduling conflicts arise.
- May maintain medical records and enter data into data base or other software.
- Maintains patient files; orders supplies and equipment as needed.
- Handles phone calls using good customer service skills; greets patients; makes appointments and confirms times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
