Medical Scribe

As an SNDC medical scribe, you will have the opportunity to work with providers whose goal is to restore function and improve the quality of life of their patients. Scribe Job Duties at SNDC include assisting the provider with documentation, ultimately allowing the provider to focus more on patient care.

These duties include:

• Chart as the provider assesses and examines the patient.
• Document patient histories, physical exams, diagnostic studies, treatment plan, and orders during patient consultations, in-office follow-ups, and telemedicine visits.
• Obtain past medical histories and imaging studies from the EMR.
• Document a patient's pain assessment diagram into the chart during follow-up visits.
• Review charts for proper documentation.

Scribe requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management.
• Strong computer skills with a typing speed of 50 WPM
• Electronic Health Record (EPIC) familiarity helpful

Although we are willing to be flexible in regards to your available hours, the ideal candidate would be able to work Monday-Thursday 07:30AM to 04:00PM with a 30-minute lunch break.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
