We are seeking a talented and creative UI Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for digital products and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Ensure consistency in design elements across platforms and devices.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement and refine designs, ensuring feasibility and optimal user experience.
  • Engage with product managers to align design solutions with business goals and user requirements.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design process, considering accessibility and inclusivity.
  • Create interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder feedback.
  • Iterate designs based on user testing results and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster a collaborative design culture.

Job Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a multi-functional team environment.
  • A strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priorities.
  • Eagerness to learn with quality, detailed focus.
  • Ability to collaborate with awareness and responsiveness to customer needs.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or related field.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, XD, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proven experience as a UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile design.
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies and their impact on design (HTML, CSS, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Certifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 10% travel, as needed
