Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. (Spiral) is seeking an Electronic Warfare Space Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join its Team!

Qualifications:

Must have five (5) years of operational experience in electromagnetic warfare with education or training in electromagnetic warfare principles and theory.

Desired Experience:

• Operational experience in electromagnetic warfare associated with space with a specialty in Offensive and/or Defensive Space Control.

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Travel is required. Anticipate 3 trips per period of performance.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

This position will:

· Provide EMSO support to Strategic Deterrence by integrating expert-level EMSO knowledge into applicable planning functions.

· Characterize the EMOE as it relates to USSTRATCOM missions and equities.

· Advise and assist to de-conflict and integrate efforts to produce a USSTRATCOM EMOE estimate with geographic CCMD EMOE estimates.

· Coordinate with appropriate agencies to receive applicable atmospheric modeling of Radio Frequency (RF) propagation products and apply those models to the EMOE estimate.

· Provide support to build and maintain the EMSO Staff Estimate. Advise and assist in providing Commander level insight into capabilities, gaps, and threats within the EMS.

· Advise and assist in integrating EMSO into USSTRATCOM OPLANs and Campaign Plans to account for activities and priorities relevant to the operations within the EMS.

· Provide support to build and maintain EMSO objectives within applicable OPLANs and Campaign plans, outlining specific objectives to portray EMSO-related strategies.

· Advise and assist in developing, contributing to, and/or maintaining applicable EMSO and Communications annexes to USSTRATCOM OPLANs.

· Advise and assist in ensuring the USSTRATCOM Plan and CONOP schemes of maneuver within the EMS are synchronized with applicable geographic CCMDs.

· Advise and assist with the analysis of EMSO capabilities as follows:

· Advise and assist with analyzing adversary EMSO capabilities by assessing vulnerabilities and weaknesses of those capabilities.

· and assist with analyzing EMSO-related capabilities, strengths, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses of own force systems.

· Works with Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center (JEC) management and subject matter experts, providing technical advice and analysis of space electromagnetic warfare capabilities in electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) operations and systems.

· Advise and assist with integrated planning and coordination for space electromagnetic warfare (EW) systems supporting global operations.

· Support the development of electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) training/education curricula by providing space EW knowledge.

· Be prepared to provide space for EW subject matter expertise in support of JEC senior leadership.

· Analyze offensive and defensive space control EMS capabilities, strengths, threats, and vulnerabilities.

· Support analysis activities for space EW weaknesses and recommend mitigation practices and capabilities.

· Collaborate with DoD components and Combat Support Agencies external to the JEC to identify, de-conflict, and assess requirements and gaps.

· Participate in and support building and integrating space control EMS objectives into Joint Campaign Plans.

· Provide support to ensure proper procedures and processes are in place to support warfighter interoperability during exercises and operations.
