Position Summary
The Salvation Army Northern Division Headquarters (DHQ) Property Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all routine maintenance and work orders for DHQ and all other Twin Cities locations. The Coordinator also manages all small Divisional (Minnesota and North Dakota) property projects.
This is a full-time position, up to 40 hours a week. Expected pay for this position is $28.85 per hour.
Essential Functions (approximate time spent)
- Maintain the property maintenance program and “Schedule of Maintenance” for all Twin Cities locations and fleet vehicles. (30%).
- Assign Twin Cities personnel and/or schedule vendors to fulfill work orders and routine maintenance (25%)
- Coordinate all aspects of smaller property projects ($50,000 and less) for the Division, including planning, securing bids, processing paperwork, seeking approvals, scheduling, and oversight. (20%)
- Provide support to and coordinate communication with local leadership/property management staff to ensure preventative and corrective maintenance and projects are efficiently completed. (10%)
- Maintain and share a current catalogue of local vendors for repairs, cleaning, grounds maintenance, and products (e.g., rugs, cleaning supplies). (5%)
- Assist with researching vendors to secure competitive bids. (5%)
- Coordinate emergency repairs using internal personnel and external vendors. (5%)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. In lieu of degree, a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Two years of relevant experience highly preferred.
- Must pass background checks, possess a valid driver’s license, and meet MVR requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Travel Requirements
Occasional local travel through the metro area using an agency vehicle for meetings.
