Local commercial industrial contractor that specializes in self-performing electrical, instrumentation, civil, structural steel, mechanical and process piping is currently seeking an area safety leader. This will be a permanent position working in and around the Savannah, GA area.

As a safety leader, you will be part of our construction and corporate safety team required to implement corporate and site safety policies and procedures. Daily activities will consist of onboarding new craft personnel, identifying potential hazards and unsafe conditions, construction craft worker observation, providing corrective action recommendations, as well as implementing PTSA's, safety audits, training, and mentoring.

Requirements:

· Knowledge of industrial construction and current Federal and OSHA requirements.

· OSHA30 – minimum.

· First Aid and CPR certified.

· Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.

· Ability to follow instructions from Corporate Safety Manager.

· Ability to interface with customers as well as other contractors.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Bilingual preferred, but not required.

· Ability to work as part of a team.

· Ability to access all areas of construction site in a variety of climates and environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Hourly - 60 to 70K year

Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday Vehicle: Daily use of company vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
