JOB TITLE: Digital Asset QC Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Post Production and Retouching
REPORTS TO: Lead Retoucher
POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Asset QC Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the quality control of digital assets that flow through the Retouching Department of Splashlight. This includes daily QC data checks on the imagery via the Asset Manager and Inventory Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Daily image QC which includes: checking for missing metadata data, incorrect pairing tags, errors in file naming, missing imagery, identifying incorrect cropping, etc
- Utilization of our Asset Manager and Inventory Manager Tools to resolves all image issues
- Communicate regularly with various team leaders within the retouching/creative/merch/digital departments to ensure all issues are resolved within a timely manner
- Partner with Lead Retoucher & Styling Department by communicating common errors seen in the workflow
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Ability to work collaboratively and deliver imagery according to standards
- Proactive and able to show initiative to foresee and resolve problems related to imagery
- Proven ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality as per the signed Restrictive Covenants and IP Protection
QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- 2 years in studio operations as digital image/quality control associate
- Technically savvy and interested in image management/organization
- Excellent communication and training skills are required
- Learn and apply the Splashlight Principles
- Maintain an attitude of unquestioned integrity
- Possess a high standard for on-time delivery of department projects
- Work overtime and weekends if/when needed
- Must be forward thinking and anticipatory with ability to make educated decisions quickly based on complete knowledge of company and business objectives.
