Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee

Responsible for coordinating individualized treatment planning, facilitating group therapy, education and lectures and providing individual services in a Behavioral Health setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group therapy, education/lecture and counseling for individual sessions.
  • Well versed in ASAM diagnosis and completion of substance use disorder assessments.
  • Complete individualized treatment planning for all individuals on active case load.
  • Maintain patient files and counselor case notes per WAC.
  • Maintain professional ethics and program integrity.
  • Knowledge of state and federal law pertaining to client confidentiality.
  • Assist with intake and discharge procedures consistent with ASAM and DSM.

Required:

Must have AA degree in human services field, or related.

Active Chemical Dependency Professional/Substance Use Disorder Professional license.
