Marketing and Event Coordinator-
Marketing and social media engagement for all of 3rdand Sherman’s entities, including Spokane Dermatology Clinic and Werschler Aesthetics. Event coordination for companywide events, primarily events at Werschler Aesthetics.
This position reports to the Owners and works directly with the management team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enhance and grow the company brand by designing marketing programs and coordinating events. Events may include holiday events, small pop-up events, product/service demonstrations, and community events
- Coordinate closely with the owners and management team in developing social media posts, and planning events to promote products and services
- Develop and execute fun and engaging events for our clients and employees, including establishing event plans and themes, budgets, negotiating with vendors, and preparing and maintaining contracts.
- Develop and maintain social media, email, and online programs for all entities
- Drive and track leads from all social networks to ensure leads become clientele
- Review marketing analytics and help team understand impact of social media posts
- Work with accounting and owners to develop and maintain marketing and event budgets, including working with brand reps to receive financial support for events
- Create monthly social media calendar and submit it for approval to management team and owners
- Create goals related to customer growth and lead generation. Track leads and report to managers and owners
- Work to increase productivity of marketing emails through constant contact
- Monitor and engage in positive social media discussions in timely manner
- Run monthly social promotions and track engagement levels and success of promotions
- Grow email list organically and manage email campaigns and monthly newsletter
- Report any updates, pertinent issues or negative messages that need addressed to the owners in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to company band standards and legal compliance, including HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Maintain constant awareness of local market statistics & trends, industry news & developments, and current digital advertising standards & best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience working in marketing, advertising, or event planning
- Bachelors’ degree in marketing or related field, preferred
- Strong computer skills, photo editing experience (Lightroom, Canva, Microsoft, etc.)
- Experience managing social media content on all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), including email marketing
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization skills and customer service skills
- Analytical skills to gather data from emails and campaigns and ability to explain results for team analysis
- Must be self-motivated, detail and deadline-oriented, and able to work independently
