WHAT IS THE POSITION?
As a Technical Recruiter, you have a passion for finding unique tech candidates by proactively sourcing, screening, and on-boarding new talent. You’ll work in conjunction with our tech and engineering leaders to help build best practices, collaborate on optimum approaches to strengthen the candidate pool, and define position scope and requirements for various positions. You will be responsible for driving a positive candidate experience at each step of the interview process and supporting SPR’s employment brand and culture by being a brand ambassador both in and outside of the office.WHAT IS THE POSITION?

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and develop relationships with both active and passive candidates to build a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Develop long-term recruiting strategies through creative initiatives
- Build relationships with hiring managers and maintain a dialogue on recruiting needs
- Conduct phone screens and preliminary interviews to assess candidates and provide recommendation on top candidates
- Manage applicant, interview documentation and data in applicant tracking system (ATS) and ERP system
- Drive a positive candidate experience at each step in the interview process and support SPR’s employment brand and culture by being a brand ambassador
- Manage the entire offer process; including salary recommendations, offer letter generation and offer acceptances/declines
- Structure and negotiate compensation between new hires and hiring managers
- Attend career fairs and networking events; develop innovative ways to brand SPR at recruitment events
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 1 years' experience in a staffing agency and/or corporate environment. Experience IT recruiting preferred
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
- Organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and influence people
- Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
- Knowledge and understanding of hiring trends, industry news and Chicago talent market
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate level Excel
- Experience with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems; iCIMS a plus
- Some travel required
