Job Description:
The responsibilities of the Sales Representative will include generating leads, meeting sales targets, conducting sales presentations, demonstrating the product, engaging in local networking activities, and negotiating contracts with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and exceed sales goals.
- Negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
- Prepare quotes and pricing schedules
- Deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Attend networking events to build relationships with potential clients
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understand and promote company programs.
- Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
- Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Maintain client records and answer questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability
- Attend a minimum of 7 home shows or expo events per year.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in sales
- Must have an understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- Must have a commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computers and different software applications
- Must be willing and able to pass a pulmonary fit test
- Must be willing and able to crawl into tight spaces / attics
