We are looking for a Refund Analyst to join our team! As a Refund Analyst, you will partner with business and finance leaders to develop refund plans to achieve profit targets as well as develop refund goals and forecasts, interpret actual results, provide variance analysis, and recommend actions to ensure success throughout the year.
\n- Partnership on creation of Power BI dashboard utilized by the Defect Reduction team
- Utilize data to find ideas to chase, examples include but are not limited to: Analysis of Channel Performance for all Channels, New Vendor SKU performance, “Big Fish” to address, Pre-seasonal reviews
- Develop refund goals and forecasts
- Recommend actions to ensure ongoing success
- Be able to lead “Top to Top” external vendor conversations to highlight status of current business with data and creative solutions to improving business
- Identify opportunities for scalable impacts and aligning team to execute vision
- Partner with Refunds team including Sr. Defect Reduction Manager, Issue Prevention Specialists
- Will work with stakeholders in Finance/Accounting, Data, IT, Channel Managers, and Merchantteams
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to create Data Visualization tool in PowerBI
- Proficient in Variance Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting
- Proficient in analyzing large data sets to identify root cause trends
- Extreme attention to detail
- 0-3 years of financial analysis experience
- Intermediate level computer proficiency, with ideal experience in SQL
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in analyzing large data sets to identify root cause trends
- Effectively communicate across all communication channels
- Ability to create Data Visualization in PowerBI
- Proficient in Variance Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting
- Extreme attention to detail
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- You are required to provide your own dual monitors
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset
A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
