About this Role
We're seeking a Product Design Lead to contribute to the growth and evolution of the product, with a focus on designing for simplicity, usability, and craft. Develop expertise on the product and customer to inform strategic design decisions.
Your Impact
- Ship features and contribute to the roadmap by partnering with product and engineering.
- Collaborate with research to conduct prototype concept tests and interviews.
- Create improvements in the way that the design org functions.
- Champion and evolve our design system in its early stages.
Your Strengths
- Has worked with stakeholders in product and engineering functions to iterate on existing products and invent new ones. Has contributed to product strategy, vision, and execution.
- Comfortable talking to users and conducting research to identify their core problems, empathize with their needs, and translate these into well designed solutions.
- Takes ownership of projects and able to manage multiple priorities against deadlines. Take initiative to make sure things gets addressed, even if it's not noted as a formal responsibility.
- Experience designing and building web applications that serve different types of users and use cases.
- Strong experience with end-to-end product design, starting with broad ideas all the way to redlining in Figma for engineering handoff.
- Drives a culture that deeply values design, quality, and craftsmanship.
- Enjoys collaborating with other designers to push boundaries and contribute to a shared vision among the design team.
