The Senior Account Executive plays a key role for the Correspondent Channel and is primarily focused on sourcing and developing relationships with emerging and highly specialized mortgage banking institutions to offer Spring EQ’s services and to convert these prospects to active clients while facilitating the timely purchase of closed loans. Further, once the client is activated, the Senior Account Executive is also responsible for nurturing these relationships to ensure a positive client experience that maximizes program penetration and production for the business unit.
Responsibilities
Serve as the key relationship manager for a producing book of business while also serving as an overall conduit to the business as it relates to that specific account base, its production growth, and overall competitive intelligence.
Develop producing Correspondent relationships through daily/weekly/monthly engagement with existing lenders and prospects via telephone and digital communications, as well as in-person meetings.
Act as a liaison to the seller in helping navigate the origination and operations process ensure timely purchase of a loan.
Meet and exceed all departmental objectives including Assigned Performance Goals / Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) including Sales Prospecting, Client Approvals, Client Activation and Funded Purchase Volumes.
Collaborate with sales leadership to support development and implementation of account specific strategic plans.
Stay current of industry knowledge, issues, market trends and regulatory issues while maintaining and improving overall professionalism through continued education.
Diagnose and resolve individual and escalated loan transaction issues by collaborating with various functional areas during the loan origination and purchase process.
Contribute positively to a culture of best-in-class service, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
5 years of mortgage or home equity industry sales and business development experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Proven history of achieving performance goals & providing exceptional client service
Experience in Correspondent (or B2B) mortgage / home equity operations preferred
Self-starter mentality with the ability to solve open ended business challenges
