Classification: Part Time Regular (20 hours/week with flexibility)
Job Location: Remote (Grand Rapids, MI area, some in person meetings required)
Reports To: President/CEO
Key Relationships: Board of Directors, Executive Leadership team, SpringHill Staff
Position Summary
The Executive Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the President, Executive Team and the Board of Directors with the goal of assisting their effectiveness and organization.
Key Job Functions
• Manage the President’s calendar, scheduling meetings, interacting with both people inside and outside of SpringHill who want to meet with the President
• Handle all administrative work of the President including expense reports, mailings, record keeping of stakeholder interactions, and managing meeting records
• Assist in scheduling bi-yearly All Staff Gathering as well as other All Staff meetings
• Provide support to the SpringHill Board of Directors, including organizing meetings and the annual retreat.
• Available to answer board member questions and resolving any SpringHill issues that might arise
• Attend board meetings, Executive team meetings, and Leadership team meetings taking notes and tracking items for follow up
• Assist the Development team by processing checks and posting donations, sending the daily donation report and distributing giving receipts
• Complete other duties as assigned by the President/CEO
Experience and Qualifications Requirements
• Commitment to the mission and ministry philosophy of SpringHill
• 5 to 7 years of experience in an administrative support role
• Worked in a professional environment
• Ability to effectively relate to all kinds of people, from all walks of life
• Highly organized and willing to assist others in being organized as well
• Positive team player
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift, bend, and twist
• Ability to push and pull loads
• Must be able to lift frequently up to 35 lbs.; occasionally 35-100 lbs. with assistance
• Good hand-eye coordination
