FRONT OFFICE MANAGER – ANVIL HOTEL/ALPINE HOUSE/CACHE HOUSE

 

As Front Office Manager at Anvil Hotel, Alpine House and Cache House, you will manage a team that delivers friendly service in the vibrant town of Jackson WY, at the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park.  We’re building a community one guest at a time.  We’re explorers, living at the center of wonder and thrilled to welcome our guests into our world.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Responsibilities

As the Front Office Manager, you will build and lead a team who exemplifies our values and brand.

 

SCOPE OF WORK TEAM

  • Manages Front Office, ensuring alignment with Anvil Hotel, Alpine House and Cache House brand values and guidelines, friendly guest service, and efficient and effective processes that enable a strong financial adherence to budgeted expectations.
  • Make meaningful connections with all guests by exhibiting an authentic and warm sense of interest, and anticipation of their needs, responding promptly to requests and concerns to maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Maintain a mastery of knowledge of guestroom, amenities, services, hours of operations, packages, promotions, and availability, and train your team in the same.

 

ONGOING EVERYDAY TASKS:

  • Financial Management:
    • Oversees scheduling, front office budgeting, ordering and supply inventory for front office.
    • Monitor and ensure all cashier and financial procedures are in accordance with accounting policies and standards to include: shortage/overages, late charges, cancellation/no shows, upgrades, retail, petty cash/ paid outs, adjustments, posting charges, etc.
  • Property Oversight:
    • Tours and visually inspects the entries and lobbies daily.
    • Monitors cleanliness, and quality of product and service.
  • People Leadership:
    • Demonstrates leadership through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Encourages trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
    • Coaches and develops team members.
    • Models appropriate behaviors and fosters a culture of excellence.
    • Collaborate closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Service-oriented with exceptional customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work weekend and evening shifts, including Fridays & Saturdays as needed.
