Job Description

The Organizational Change Management Consultant is responsible for evaluating processes and identifying the impact of Clinic initiatives and ensuring that appropriate communication and training is executed.

Job Relationships

  • Reports to the Director of IT Strategic Partnerships and Organizational Change Management.
  • Works with all areas in the organization, but closely with IT, Brand & Experience, and HR.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership and teams across the organization to develop and implement change management strategies to support the preparation, adoption, and support of changes through analysis, training, and communications.
  • Evaluate organizational processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas of impact and opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and propose solutions, including process redesign, automation, or technology advancements.
  • Assess the impact of changes by conducting an impact analysis, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders to develop plans to mitigate implications and risks to support the change.
  • Develop, execute, and support communication plans to promote the adoption of change, including the creation, distribution, and management of communications.
  • Develop, execute, and support training plans and strategies to promote the adoption of change, including the creation, distribution, and management of training and education during and after implementation.
  • Identify potential risks and resistance associated with the proposed changes and develop mitigation plans to minimize the impact.
  • Identify and report any issues that arise due to implementing various changes within the organization.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring KPIs that measure the effectiveness of change management strategies by analyzing results and identifying and taking adaptive actions.
  • Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • BA/BS in Technology, Business, Healthcare, Organizational Development, or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading organizational initiatives using change management principles or methodologies.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience implementing healthcare or technology initiatives using project management or process improvement methodologies.

Licenses/Certificates

  • Change Management certification (Prosci, CCMP) or relevant experience preferred.
  • Process improvement certification (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM) or relevant experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • A team player with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to lead, influence, and work collaboratively across the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to balance changing priorities.

Working Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
