GENERAL: Crossing Guard is responsible for the safety of children at an intersection, ensuring their safe crossing of streets using crosswalks and any traffic control lights. The Crossing Guard must ensure all traffic is stopped before waving children across the street. When any dangerous situations with vehicles are observed, the Crossing Guard should report the license number and color of the vehicle to the Police Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report time worked, anticipated absences, and absences to school office.
- Provide safe environment for children and safe crossing of street for children; appearance time to be specified by Principal.
