What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at SpringHill Suites Austin NW Arboretum?
We are seeking individuals with tremendous personality and a desire to work with people, to join our Front Desk team. We are currently looking for someone interested in a morning shift 7am-3pm. Starting pay is $15.50 but if you have previous experience is negotiable.
As a Front Desk agent with SpringHill Suites Marriott Austin Northwest, your main responsibilities are:
- Anticipate guests and needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of Hotel features/services, hours of operations, room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures, and scheduled daily group activities.
- Process all guest check-ins.
- Verify guest information and payments.
- Monitor email and Marriott Guest Experience console to communicate effectively with guests and vendors.
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery).
This is a list of qualities we look for in an ideal candidate for Front Desk Agent :
- Previous Hotel Front Desk is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus, as our guests are coming from a variety of countries
- Proficiency with computers
- Critical Thinker with the ability to think outside of the box and problem solve
- Reliable, Punctual, and Dependent
- Great communication skills both verbal and written.
