The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance staff daily. Directs, coordinates and performs routine, preventative and emergency interior/exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency for hotel operstaions.
Other responsibilities include:

Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs to brand standards including laundry equipment, heating and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms and plumbing.

Inspects guest rooms after preventative maintenance.
- Reviews any problems with maintenance staff.
- Maintains a current inventory of all supplies.

Maintains a work order assignment program for completed and pending work orders. Prioritizes and completes work orders in a timely manner. Monitors all deficiencies

Maintains the hotel grounds, curb appeal and building exteriors

Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns

Educates hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions

Hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engineer in a hotel, hospital or building.
- Brand experience preferred.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment such as chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment.
- Possess extensive working knowledge of building systems to include but not limited to; HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
- Demonstrate excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft programing (word, excel & project).
