Job Summary

This role reports directly to the home technology & integration (HTI) channel General Manager. The channel marketing specialist (CMS) directly supports SWF’s initiative to grow market share within the CEDIA (consumer electronics design and installation) dealer channel. The CMS will work closely with the GM to manage all aspects of a successful channel launch and ongoing channel growth. This includes managing and executing all ongoing channel marketing, channel messaging, dealer programs and incentives, industry tradeshows, dealer showroom program, and sales and marketing assets. The CMS will stay up on industry trends and seek to continually understand the targeted channel dealers. The CMS supports sales growth through thoughtful and effective marketing initiatives while working with sales and broader dealer marketing team to target new dealer acquisitions.


Job Duties
  • Understand the business objectives and growth plans, build and drive marketing programs and initiatives proactively to increase SWFs business within the CEDIA channel.
  • Act as a key point of contact between CEDIA channel sales team, product management, dealer marketing, dealer training, and several cross-functional departments to implement and execute CEDIA channel focused marketing projects.
  • Work closely with GM to create and execute on strategic brand campaigns and initiatives to build brand awareness, messaging, and product positioning that helps dealers drive consumer awareness and brand preference.
  • Create comprehensive B2B marketing campaigns for the launch and adoption of SWF’s HTI Dealer Program (e.g.., development of creative briefs, project management, engagement with internal & external support areas for execution & deployment, etc.)
  • Head up marketing initiatives focused on motorization and smart home integration targeting CEDIA channel dealers.
  • Manage the creation of CEDIA channel sales support assets such as product displays, videos, product literature, sample books, sell sheets, pricing guides, and digital assets.
  • Identify key CEDIA industry trade shows and associations that SWFs should participate in as a member, sponsor, and exhibitor.
  • Oversee, manage, and execute CEDIA trade shows that SWFs decides to participate in.
  • Develop standard forms of communication to ensure CEDIA channel dealers and SWFs sales teams understand key CEDIA marketing initiatives, promotions, product announcements, and dealer program highlights. (e.g., Newsletter, CEPro Publication, etc…)
  • Oversee ongoing online social media platform posts/content for the CEDIA dealer program.
  • Manage relationships with key marketing vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Manage and maintain events calendar, production, and advertising schedules, contact database, marketing templates and collateral inventory.
  • Localize, customize, and help develop sales/marketing tools for the channel customers
  • Perform other job duties as assigned*
  • Travel Domestically up to 30%
Requirements:
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis in Marketing or related field or 2-3 years of marketing experience
  • Marketing experience with a consumer goods company within the consumer electronics industry is desirable.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong B2B channel account management experience.
  • CEDIA channel sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience with utilization of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.)
  • Ability to make recommendations based on data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Consistent attention to detail, urgency, and quality.
