Our IT team is seeking an IT Project Manager to join the team. This role is Remote, with preference given to someone who lives in/near Dallas, TX.
This position reports to the Director of Analytics & Innovation and provides project management support to hospital, corporate, and vendor staff regarding Springstone’s infrastructure, software, and IT systems. The IT Project Manager will oversee all aspects of a technology project to ensure on-time completion and budget adherence.
Position Details
- This position will have responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and resources for projects and will collaborate with staff, vendors, and project sponsors on defining requirements for IT projects and implementation.
- This position will also support the interfacing of our medical billing system with other applications and vendors via ADT or HL7 Interfaces and assist with establishing other methods of data exchange.
- The position requires the ability to work with and motivate other departmental staff, system vendors, or outsourced IT vendors to complete a project in a timely manner.
- The candidate must have analytical and problem-solving proficiency, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of project management principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to coordinate with team members and management and to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- This position will also perform data analysis as needed and serve as a resource for data integration for system implementations.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player, a strong communicator, adaptable, able to multitask in a busy environment and comfortable prioritizing projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Four-year College Degree preferred or equivalent project management experience
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in managing projects in healthcare environments with experience in medical billing software, EHR, data interfaces and data exchange as well as business systems and project management experience is required.
- Experience in managing projects interfacing data primarily using ADT or HL7.
- Proficient with service and support desk ticket management and the documentation of incidents, issues, and resolutions.
- Position requires excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
