We have a part-time opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) at our West Hartford clinic. Clinic hours are M-F 8am-6pm and we offer flexibility with shift start/end times and days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to children (ages 2-18) in a clinic-based setting
- Plan, prepare and perform individually designed treatment programs to patients
- Identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for re-evaluation
- Evaluate effectiveness of treatment at various stages and adjust treatment as necessary
- Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and improve outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team (BT, BCBA, SLP)
Qualifications:
- OT Licensure in the state of practice
- Masters degree from an accredited University
- NBCOT board certified
- Experience and/or interest in pediatrics and developmental disorders
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate on a multidisciplinary team
