This is a great opportunity to gain the time and experience required for a MN 1st Class A Boiler License!
This is a full time Entry Level Power Plant Operator position with a 6 mega watt co-generation facility.
Normal schedule is 4 days on, 4 days off, 12 hour shifts, alternating days and nights every 8 day rotation, including the ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. Overtime paid after 12 hours in a day and 40 hours in a week.

Job Duties Include:
- Basic maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning of power plant equipment
- Water treatment, preform lab testing
- Generate accurate legible documentation and log record
- Equipment checks
Job Qualifications:
- Applicant must possess basic math, science, and problem-solving skills
- Applicant must be able to work in all types of climates both inside and out including extreme hot and cold temperatures, noisy environments, heights, dusty environments, all of which require use of Personal Protective Equipment
- Applicant must be able to stand for long periods, work in confined spaces and have good physical dexterity; i.e., bend, kneel, climb steps and ladders, and lift 50 Lbs
- With training, the applicant must be able to operate heavy equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, and skid-steers
- Attendance and punctuality are required including some mandatory overtime
All employees are subject to random drug screens - Applicant must have the ability to work independently in an organized safe manner
- Applicants must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Computer basics (Microsoft Office Suite, Maximo)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minnesota Special or 2nd Class A Boiler License.
