We have an opportunity with a successful service organization for a motivated professional with solid organizational skills and excellent communication, both written and oral. Reporting to the Executive Director, this is an opportunity to join a well-established organization which includes multiple members and has remained an integral part of the Michiana Community for many years.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
The Marketing and Communication Coordinator is responsible for overall support, communication, education, and assistance for member institutions. The Marketing and Communication Coordinator will:
· Maintain relationships with a variety of organizations. Must be a goodwill ambassador, promote the value of member organizations, and help grow and maintain membership.
· Use internal software and technology to effectively communicate with member organizations and others on an ongoing basis, including newsletters and digital media, including social media.
· Coordinate educational and training opportunities for member organizations.
· Promote good relations between members and the public they serve. Also foster goodwill and encourage ethical conduct among members.
· Maintain high professional standards in the conduct of business.
· Exhibit solid organizational skills and assist in event and meeting planning.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and good interpersonal skills are important for this role. In addition, this individual will need to effectively interact with a variety of individuals and organizations.
- Good time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with technology, including systems to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, digital media, website copy, brochures and promotional materials, etc.
- Experience with event planning a plus.
- Positive, upbeat work style, customer service attitude, intellectual curiosity to learn and grow.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
