Job Overview:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and coordinating various office tasks. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
The Administrative Coordinator is an essential Squam Lakes Natural Science Center (SLNSC)staff member. Although the role is within the Finance and operations team, it supports all SLNSC departments. The Administrative Coordinator is customer service-focused and is the main point of contact for most inquiries made to SLNSC. Responsibilities include supporting Finance, Operations, Development, Fundraising, Communications, and Marketing. This position is in Holderness, NH, and is an on-site, in-person role.
Responsibilities:
-Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
-Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences
-Assist with project coordination and tracking deadlines
-Provide excellent customer support and address inquiries or concerns
-Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
-Assist with office management tasks, such as organizing files and records
-Utilize computer skills to create reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
-Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
-Assist with any other administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in a not for profit organization
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new software systems
Education:
- A high school diploma
- An Associate or Bachelor's Degree is desirable
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Proof of Eligibility for employment in the United States
-Be able to pass a background check successfully
-Must provide two to four professional employment references
-Have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation
