Position Description:
TITLE: Project Manager
DEPARTMENT(S): Wireless
DIRECT REPORT(S): Construction Managers, Project Coordinators, Supervisors
REPORTS TO: SVP, Wireless
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing, planning, managing and tracking the progress of our construction projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manages Development and Quality of all documents and deliverables.
Establishes what profit margins need to be based on company standards and expectations.
Clearly identify gaps in project delivery
Maintain appropriate time, cost, resources, bids, schedules, and deliverables.
Responsible for the overall management, planning, developing, bidding, ongoing maintenance, and directing implementation for the Wireless Operations Division.
Manage, and track the progress of construction against scheduled deadlines.
Develop and manage project budgets that meet program guidelines.
Coordinate with Construction Manager for Timing, Execution, and closeouts for individual projects.
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of completion.
Manage individual project cost, scope of work, and schedules.
Work Independently and with teams to ensure quality deliverables are submitted timely.
Ensure teams are certified through communication with the Wireless Safety Division.
Schedule with the Wireless Safety Division, training and compliance needs for all new hires added to the Wireless Operations Division.
Any additional task as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knows how to use popular construction project management software.
Builds strong relationships with clients, contractors, and construction workers.
Supervises a construction manager and assistant construction project managers.
Excels at organization, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and record inventory intake
Strong work ethic, leads by example, and does what it takes to get the job done
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and with various other software programs for data entry
Ability to communicate with clarity at the frequencies required by management and customers
Ability to travel to multiple sites as required
Work independently with minimal supervision
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 or older
Bachelors Degree (in Business Management, or Engineering) with 3 years of telecommunications experience or 10 years of verified wireless telecommunication project management experience
Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
Valid drivers license and excellent driving record
Must be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug test, and background check
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Outreach Training
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
