What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian - SRC Electrical position at SRC Electrical?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will be responsible for the cleanliness of the facility to include the plant, plant restrooms, and break areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, break areas, and other areas as needed.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Strip and wax floors as needed
- Trash and cardboard disposal.
- Check facility and grounds for safety hazards and reporting any deficiency.
- Keep janitor closets clean, neat and orderly and ensures maintenance of necessary cleaning supplies.
- Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
- Work attendance must be exemplary.
- Snow removal as needed.
- May need to use a forklift.
- Operate floor scrubber.
- Use a manual or powered skid jack as needed.
