SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Software Engineer for an exciting opportunity in our Electronic Warfare & Services Division. The selected candidate will assess the scientific and technical (S&T) capabilities of current and future foreign Advanced Conventional Weapons systems; to forecast and predict future capabilities and battlefield effectiveness; and to create high-fidelity models and simulations of such systems.

Responsibilities:
- The candidate will apply and interpret fundamental engineering principals, theories, and computer science concepts
- The candidate will contribute to project teams as required and will be able to work with general guidance or direction from others
- Participate in the construction of mathematical models and coding in R, Python, MATLAB, and Excel
- Execute retrieval processes from databases using industry-standard query languages (e.g. SQL)
- Research and evaluate the technical requirements to protect or exploit networks and communications infrastructure
- Provide expertise to evaluate the development, modification, and application of hardware and software information security tools, methods, and techniques
- Facilitate the production and dissemination of S&T intelligence related to foreign ground forces’ research, development, and operations
Position Requirements:
- Clearance: TS/SCI
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- Experience: 3 years of related experience in computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering
- Experience with the following software languages and tools: C , Java, Python, Git, JIRA, MATLAB/Simlink, and CAD tools
- Familiarity with Big Data (parallel processing power and options for handling analysis of data)
- Familiarity with TMAP/ITASE and other intelligence community databases a plus (e.g. SPIRIT)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think independently, and overcome technical challenges
- Ability and desire to work on multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
