What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant 5:00am - 12noon position at Sree Hotels?
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To prepare and service the daily complimentary breakfast, greeting each guest and ensuring that guests are 100% satisfied.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides personalized service to all guests
- Sets up and maintains the breakfast buffet in an attractive abundant-looking, organized, clean and standardized presentation
- Takes inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed each day
- teams up with management on purchasing needs
- Prepares foods such as cut fruit, coffee and juices from concentrates
- Uses industrial kitchen equipment to heat and cook hot breakfast items
- Stocks coffee, juice and milk in machines or dispensers
- Sets up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products
- Sets out/arranges cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal for self service
- Clears and cleans tables as they are vacated
- Wipes up spills
- Removes trash
- Restocks self service food and supplies as needed
- Washes serving equipment and returns to proper storage area
- Returns reusable food supplies to storage

REQUIREMENTS*
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience working in a customer facing position is required
- Ability to get to work on time as scheduled and work the early morning shift (breakfast area must be set up by 6 AM daily).
- Ability to present a professional demeanor, both in appearance and communication skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to engage and interact with associates and guests
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Must be able to multi- task and prioritize tasks when needed
- Possess basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Must have basic knowledge of the proper use, maintenance, cleaning of industrial kitchen equipment, and food preparation.

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS*
Employees in this position work primarily indoors. Employees work in a customer- facing environment, and must be able to provide excellent customer service at all times. Fluency in the English language and the ability to speak, hear, read and write are required as is the ability to work any hours/days of the week necessary to meet business requirements. Employees must be able to walk, stand, bend, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
