Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Be the driving force behind a skilled team, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring they achieve exceptional results. Strong candidates will have a focus on holding people accountable.
Quality Control: Guarantee that each product leaving your area meets exacting specifications and quality benchmarks.
Process Enhancement: Continuously improve production processes, identify quality issues, and implement enhancements to manufacturing procedures.
Communication: Keep our Production Manager and department heads informed of your team's progress on projects and production.
Safety First: Enforce safety guidelines, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and prioritize the well-being of your team.
Inventory Management: Manage tools and parts inventory within your department and maintain a high level of organization.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (Technical degree preferred).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on knowledge of production systems.
- Prior experience leading a team, strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Working Conditions:
