SRI’s Computer Science Laboratory develops leading-edge tools and methods for areas including computer security, high-assurance systems, advanced user interfaces, computer networking, robotics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. We study the logical foundations of scalable systems beyond the scope of traditional testing or simulation, and we create and apply high-level tools for rigorous mechanical analysis.
The goal of this internship is gaining a better understanding of how large teams are organized and operate by supporting lab/project processes and procedures.
The intern must be local to the Menlo Park office to come on-site as needed, but will mostly be able to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Work with the CHALO team to better understand process/procedures and organize team SharePoint to support efficient collaboration across team members.
- Redesign/organize the CSL website to help improve the lab’s outward facing visibility.
- Work with project and lab staff on internal processes and procedures to develop training tools and help streamline processes to help maximize efficiency while minimizing time.
Qualifications
The salary range is: $28/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
