Job Description:
· The Technical Project Manager is a technical project management position that drives delivery and value realization of our most strategic projects.
· This person is responsible for supporting cross-functional teams responsible for planning, management, communication, and governance of projects in a collaborative and fast-paced, high-energy, and value-driven environment.
· This position is for a technical project management professional who can navigate change and complexity with ease.
· This includes strong organizational and communication skills, ability to identify and document road blocks, and articulating sensitive trade off decision points.
· The individual needs to be able to bring a neutral and strategic perspective to passionate business problems and leverage clear, transparent, and data-driven communication to align teams.
· The scope of this person’s responsibilities will include managing technical projects of large scope, impact, and complexity through all phases of the lifecycle ensuring best practices are implemented along with the ability to provide content for executive reviews.
· This role will manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
· This role will also be very process focused and the ideal candidate will be a solid transformation change professional, with skills in business analysis, relationship development, and crisp communication.
· The ideal candidate will be able to keep tasks on track, team members accountable, and will have experience in working with teams of different disciplines.
· The goal is to ensure that all projects deliver the desirable outcome to our organization, teams feel a sense of success and individuals feel professional growth.
· This position is part of the Transformation Programs & Operations team and will be required to be in person at the Fort Lauderdale, FL office.
Responsibilities:
Able to independently perform:
· Organizes and monitors inter-connected projects Structures and breaks down business problems as they relate to in progress projects
· Conducts analyses to define clear requirements and ensure cross-functional alignment with clear success-criteria (data-driven)
· Manage Program/Project delivery by: Coordinating cross-project/program activities Documenting projects scope issues
· Developing and controlling deadlines and activities Creating detailed task definition, plan build and tracking
· Applying change and risk management Assessing program performance and aiming to maximize ROI Contributes to continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity and identifies opportunities for improvement to the overall effectiveness of teams, processes and organization
· Communicates status, results, and challenges to executive leadership teams; tracks risks and issues for the team Manage vendor relationships and progress
· Facilitates getting the work done without relying on dictating or assigning the work
· Participates in discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across project
· Assists with internal and external communication and change management efforts, improving transparency, and driving adoption
· Demonstrates an analytical approach to troubleshooting of issues, performing root cause analysis, and defining impacts Leads by example through personal and professional integrity
Key Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience PMP Certification highly preferred Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
· Solid technical understanding of Salesforce Technical knowledge of Marketo is a big plus
· Ability to ask the right technical questions when working with vendors and internal technical teams
· Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment Aptitude for identifying areas for improvement and developing appropriate new processes
· Ability to work without authority to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion Ability to develop strong cross-team relationships and partnerships
· Ability to create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
· Effective communication and documentation skills
· Ability to identify development issues, quickly gather and synthesize information, devise a plan, get buy-in and move towards resolution.
· Understanding of applications, infrastructure, and security capability is a plus.
· Embraces the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instills the same in the project/program team(s) you lead Ability to drive and document process optimization.
