Responsibilities:
Manage and administer Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as database backups, restores, and patches to maintain data integrity and system stability.
Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize SQL queries and database configurations for improved efficiency.
Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking to safeguard sensitive information.
Troubleshoot database issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service.
Support and maintain IBM Distributed DB2 databases, including installation, configuration, and ongoing management tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement database-related policies, procedures, and best practices to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
