What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing & STNA position at SRZ Reach?
Summary: The primary purpose of your job positions are 1) to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and in accordance with current federal and state guidelines as well as in accordance with Rosemount Pavilion's Healthcare’s established privacy policies and procedures, and 2) complete regular ordering and stock of facility supplies as established by direct report supervisors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations
· Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel and the general public
· Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the resident’s served
· Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
· Must be knowledgeable in computers, data retrieval, input and output functions, etc.
· Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept
· Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
· Must possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel
· Must possess the ability to display patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning
· Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
· Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices
· Attends and participates in continuing education programs
· Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
· Must be able to complete all other tasks as assigned by facility Administrator, Director of Nursing, or designee
· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language
Qualifications: At least one (1) year experience as a nurse aide and/or other related clerical experience. Additional on the job training will be provided.
Salary : $23,000 - $29,100
