Description
SS Equipment, one of the largest New Holland agricultural equipment dealerships in the Northwest, is currently seeking a full-time Controller for our headquarters in Pasco, WA. As the Controller, you will report to the Dealer Principal, prepare financial statements and reconciliations, develop and maintain accounting policies, among other regular duties.

Responsibilities
- Manage finance and accounting functions for the dealership.
- Establish and enforce internal controls.
- Interface with office staff and provide feedback as necessary.
- Review accounting GL regularly to identify and correct errors or omissions.
- Monitor multiple bank accounts and perform transfers as directed by Dealership Principal.
- Prepare daily cash accounting and forecast for disbursements.
- Close financial periods and prepare financial reports for management on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly sales tax reporting to Washington and Oregon.
- Prepare & remit monthly manufacturer reporting.
- Coordinate audits and provide information to auditors as requested.
- Prepare periodic 401k reporting.
- Assist in business liability insurance renewal and audit.
- Develop and monitor budget.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Prior Controller experience and CPA preferred.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and Expert Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to trace transactions through the system and general ledger.
- Strong understanding of AR and AP.
- Overall understanding of Payroll accounting.
- Ability to work as a part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Periodic travel to visit dealership locations.
Salary : $75,000 - $115,000
